- “Travel advisors don’t have information as updated as the internet.” This is completely incorrect. My agency has amazing partnerships with the Travel Partners we work with, which keeps us current and up-to-date via receiving daily emails and updates with new offers from our suppliers that will not be published on the internet. We have a direct line to them when issues arise, or to check on better offers, something the internet cannot do for you. If any component of your trip is not up to your expectations, we will step in to make it right through the travel partner.
- “The need for travel advisors is being replaced by the internet.” There are things technology can never replace, and personal touch is one of them. The internet can be a valuable resource and we appreciate our clients using it for research; however, it cannot replace the expertise, guidance and personal service of myself. - “The hotel you book online is the same hotel your travel advisor will book for you.” While this may be true, it’s definitely not created equal, especially when it comes to value and specialization.
